What Does My Ultrasound Report Indicate?

Question: My wife is pregnant since 6 Week 3 days. We got an ultrasound at 6 Week 1 day and doctor asked for repeated HCG test at a difference of 48 hours. HCG level on 24th Dec was 53449 and on 26th Dec its 65323.
Questions that I have in my mind. What will be the good time to go for ultrasound to detect heartbeat.
Is HCG level rising appropriately as 2 week earlier it increased from 900 to 2900 in less than 48 hours.
Ultrasound report is as below:
LMP : 09-11-2014
GA (LMP) : 7weeks 1day
Findings:-
Uterus is gravid.
Single gestational sac noted in the intrauterine cavity.
Decidual reaction is adequate.
Yolk sac is not seen at present.
Foetal pole is not seen at present.
GS measures 2.1cm corresponding to 7weeks 7days
Chorio-decidual separation is absent.
Bilateral ovaries are normal in size and echopattern.
No free fluid in POD.
Cervical length is adequate.
Internal os is closed.
IMPRESSION: Gestational sac of 7weeks 1day with devoid of fetal node / yolk sac - ? anembryonic pregnancy.
ADV.: B-HCG co-relation / follow up.
Declaration of the doctor/person conducting Ultrasound/Image scanning.
I, DR. XXXXXXX DIXIT (Name of the doctor conducting ultrasound) declare that while conducting ultrasound/ image scanning on Mrs. XXXXXXX Vyas (Name of pregnant woman), I have neither detected nor disclosed the sex of the foetus in any manner.

Brief Answer:
repeat scan after one week advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr. XXXXXXX I understand your anxiety.
After reading the report of ultrasound and bHCG it seems to have a poor prognosis.
Because by now at least a fetal pole should have been there.
Fetal heart activity most of the times appear by 7 weeks of gestation as in your ultrasound.
Moreover rise in bHCG is also very less.
But still you should wait for at least a week for repeat scan.
In case there is no cardiac activity on repeat ultrasound then it will be conclusive that it is an anembryonic pregnancy (missed abortion).
But let's hope for the best and till then ask your wife to take bed rest as much as possible.

Brief Answer:
must take the medicines
Detailed Answer:
Yes sir definitely.
Duphaston and HCG injections will support the pregnancy and prevent the separation of pregnancy from the uterus.
Thus in case the delay in development of pregnancy is due to the lack of progesterone then duphaston and HCG injections will combat that.
So just ask her to keep taking the medicines as advised and take as much rest as possible.
All the best.
