What Does My Ultrasound Scan Report Indicate?
Question: Hi Doctor. I have done my ultrasson and I'm worryng about the results . My right side ovary is 4,97x1,95x2,04 with corpus luten is it normal? And also trace of fluids in pod. I have no ideia about it. And my smear quality endocervical cells absent and boderline changes in squamous cells are present , I'm having a lot of pain could you help me please? I'm worryn about cancer. Thank you

Hi XXXX, I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
Corpus luteal cyst in ovary is usually present in early pregnancy. The ovarian size you have mentioned is more than normal and is possibly due to corpus luteal cyst.
Trace of fluid in POD and abdominal pain can be due to ectopic pregnancy or pelvic inflammatory disease.Do get urine pregnancy test as soon as possible.
Pap smear showing borderline changes in squamous cells need further evaluation by colposcopy in order to comment about cancer.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined ,investigated (Transvaginal ultrasound and colposcopy) and treated accordingly.
