What Does My Ultrasound Scan Report Indicate?
Question: Hi,
I had to take an ultrasound for some reason.
The sonologist was asking me about my LMP and few more questions of my menstrual cycle.
I have attached the report. It says there is a follicle measuring 26*26mm iny right ovary.
My last LMP was 22nd of October and it lasted 3 days. I have a 27 days cycle and my cycles are always regular. So I would probably get it by 18th of this month.

Brief Answer:
Functional ovarian cyst, nothing to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
I have reviewed the ultrasound report.
The ultrasound shows normal ovaries, however a small cyst is present in right ovary.
This cyst is small and is a functional cyst , which can be present in second half of the menstrual cycle.
Such a cyst usually resolves after the next periods.
There is nothing to worry.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
