What Does My Urine Test Report Indicate?

Question: Hi I had a un protected sex and since then I am having burning full penis and penis area. In my urine report pus cells were showing as 8 to 10 hpf and VDRL test came as non reactive from last 3 days I am taking kefpod tablate bur there is no relief in burning sensation. When I lies down burning sensation increased.

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have developed UTI after having unprotected sex .

Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefotaxime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkalizer thrice daily .Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water .To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.

thank you sir I have attached reports as well shall I stop kefod and start taking these from.tomm?? kindly suggest for how long shall I take this and doctor said dnt go for urine culture now as ur taking kefod tablet from last 2 days

Burning could be due to what is called as abacterial cystitis .

Take Nitrofuradantin twice daily for a week along with Citralka .
