What Does Negative HIV 1, HIV 2 PCR And Duos Test Post Non Penetrative Sex Indicate?
Question: Doctor i have exposure on 12th XXXXXXX 2014 back gone to dance bar . I was wearing clothes and she weari.ng jeans and top nude. I am on top of her wearing clothes. During that period i ejaculated inside my clothes. On 28th July I have piles last for two weeks, 20th August 2014 -Mouth ulcers, 25th August- red pus filled postules around nose and beard area last for two weeks.coming and going
lost 3 kg weight from period from 14th july to 28th July 2014. Performed following tests
1 hiv 1 and hiv 2 RNA qualtative PCR test and his duo at 45 days on 24th July 2014
2 HIV rapid test on 13th Sep ,22nd Sep and 30th Sep 2014 .all came back negative.
Please advise whether I have to go for further tests.I seen in internet during seroconversion antibodies not able to detect..

I have one exposure 4 years back. Can a simple hiv Antibody test showing negative enough ?

- It cant detect antibodies only if the disease is in the terminal stage where antibody production is completely halt by the virus. But in this condition you have multiple opportunistic infections, which I think you do not have.
