What Does Orangish Vaginal Spotting Along With Foul Odor And Irritation Indicate?
Question: I starting spotting rusty orange discharge along with a irritation, but no foul odor. It's started on the 7th days before my period. Any ideas on what this is?.
Brief Answer:
Orange vaginal discharge indicating vaginitis (vaginal infection)....
Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,
The rusty orange discharge along with irritation but with no foul odor are indicating vaginitis (vaginal infection).
I highly recommend to run a vaginal swab testing to determine:
- the type of infections
- rule out the presence of trichomoniasis (which is also associated with orange discharge)
After we have the report, we can decide for best treatment strategy: antibiotics and vaginal ovules.
Please keep good genital hygiene, avoid unprotected sexual habits.
Hope this helped!
