Brief Answer:
Go in tonight.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

Blood can happen in the urine for a number of innocuous reasons, such as strenuous exercise, but given that you are on Xarelto, I am leaning on the side of caution, and so I think you should be evaluated now rather than waiting.

Xarelto, as you probably know, can cause bleeding.

I think you should go in tonight so the ER can get a urinalysis and you may also need to have imaging studies (such as an ultrasound of the kidney, ureter, bladder).

Sometimes hematuria can be from a small stone in the bladder (which is sometimes painless) or a bladder infection. But given that you are on Xarelto, and we don't know where the bleeding is coming from nor how much bleeding may be going on, you should go in tonight.

I would be grateful for hearing how you are doing after you have been evaluated.
