What Does Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding After Taking I-pill Indicate?
Quite a mess in contracepive protection
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,
After the first unprotected intercourse, you had taken I-pill. I believe it was taken within 72 hours; if not please specify exactly when did you take I-pill. I-pill when taken within 72 hours of the unprotected sex gives fairly good protection against pregnancy.
I-pill is a progestational medicine; hence is known to cause bleeding a few days after its consumption. The bleeding you had 2 days after taking I-pill was this type of bleeding which is normal and is not worth concern.
Even after this pill, the following next menses may get delayed by few days to a week. Not to be worried about.
However, you had repeat unprotected sex after few days. This needs a serious consideration. This second intercourse does carry a possibility of pregnancy. You will have to look for this possibility.
You may perform Beta hCG test on your blood 10 days after the last unprotected intercourse. Values above 25 mIU/ml are diagnostic of pregnancy while in non-pregnant state, the values are under 5 mIU/ml.
Alternatively, you may wait for the menses to appear. If they are delayed, a week to 10 days after, you may perform pregnancy test on the overnight early morning first urine sample. Done earlier, these tests may report false negative.
Please upload the results of these tests for my review. Also clarify exactly when did you take I-pill.
The pain you are having in the vaginal area is due to the vaginal stretching. This is your first sexual experience; hence, some pain has to be expected. It will subside subsequently if you give rest to vagina for few days.
For any more information and/or advice, I am always available for you, Tweety. You may consider posting a good review with 5 star rating for me.

Rule out pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,
I have not got the information about when did you have your last menstrual period in the month of September.
You have taken I-pill after about 24 hours of the first unprotected sex. So this intercourse was protected against pregnancy.
On 27th, the bleeding started which is withdrawal bleeding of I-pill. No issue of concern.
Intercourse on 27th cannot be guaranteed since it was not protected by I-pill. Please get Beta hCG test done on your blood. Otherwise, get pregnancy test done on the overnight first morning urine sample 3 weeks after 27th September.
It is likely you have contacted some infection due to intercourse during bleeding phase, hence there is pain in abdomen. Pain in vagina is due to the stretching and will go subsequently with rest to the vagina. Please report the abdominal pain to the Gynaecologist to look for infection. If there is no infection, you can take some painkiller pill to stop the pain.
You need not worry for the bleeding in the absence of infection. It will stop within few days.
