What Does Red Discoloration On The Penis Tip Indicate?
Question: last sunday I visited my military friend. we had a few drinks and she performed oral sex on me at first for one minute. was so vigorous with her teeth . it hurts so much like if she bites me. I made her stop.
after the one minute I observed bruises scratches like blood clot and the top of my penis is red.
she did it again for about 10 second but it was so painful , I made her stopped
also she bites me on my tight and my neck. I did put some whisky in the area and did not burn which is the skin was intact.
she told me that as a military, she gets tested twice a year the last test was in November last year.
My doctor gave Neosporin and also told me not to worry about it because saliva inactivate hiv virus.
I needed a second opinion.
can I resume my relationship with my wife
thank you in advance for your prompt response

Brief Answer:
Oral sex carries a low risk for HIV/STD.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
Oral sex carries a low risk for HIV infection as per CDC, XXXXXXX USA.
As your doctor mentioned, human saliva as such is not infectious for HIV transmission, unless it is contaminated with blood.
In your case, as you had bites and bruises through oral sex, it is better to rule out the possibility of HIV infection before you resume your sexual activities with your wife to be on the safe side. We can not take the biannual medical examination as a foolproof guarantee that she is free from HIV infection as there is a possibility of getting infected in this interval period.

Brief Answer:
Without blood contamination, oral sex is safe
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
If it is so, you are absolutely safe.
Sometimes blood in minute quantity would not be visible, if she had some oral pathological conditions.
Anyway having a HIV test before resuming the sexual activities is always safer.
