If this is intra-abdominal lipoma with no signs of cancer then this is pretty simple procedure even if this is attached to bowel, so you don't need to be worried at all. Lipomas are soft and well confined tumors which are easily removed. It is done under general aneashesia and lasting for about 1.5-2 hours and recovery is very quick, within 2 weeks.
