Your child has hemiparesis/hemiplegia. The treatment is physical therapy.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone through your query as well as the attached report. I understand your concerns.
The brain controls the muscles of our body. The connections after arising from the brain get crossed to the other side. So, the right brain controls the left side of the body and vice versa. For proper functioning, the brain needs constant supply of blood which comes in through the arteries and drains out through the veins. Any clotting or block due to any reason may stall the blood flow. The process is called thrombosis which has affected the veins and has thereby caused lack of blood flow to a very crucial part of the right side of the brain. This is called infarct which has caused cell death in that area. Thus the control over the movement of the left side of the body including the upper and lower limbs has been lost. This is called hemiparesis or hemiplegia (depending on the severity). This is what has happened to your son.
The brain has plasticity or the capacity to remodel itself and chances are that your child will gradually recover. But medicines will not be helpful. Passive exercises will keep the muscles working and will send feedback to the nerves and will gradually revitalize the connections. It can be a time taking process but there is significant scope of recovery. You need to get in touch with a physical therapist who can mediate the process.
