Brief Answer:
its necessary but its never that costly.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
if your mother is 51 and if she has attained menopause and if she is bleeding now then it is necessary to do a endometrial biopsy to rule out any hyperplasia with atypia and to rule out endometrial cancer.
But an endometrial biopsy is an office procedure and including the reportvit shoild cost at XXXXXXX 2000 rupees. And not 20000 at all.
Someone is duping you.
