default
Posted on Wed, 15 Apr 2015
Question: I am 57 yrs old and diabetic since 15 yrs and recently getting pain in my right calf after a walk of about half a kilometer. As per scanning report my External iliac artery shows few foci of mild narrowing, maximum % of stenosis in distal external iliac artery being 25 to 30%. Proximal and mid superficial femoral artery shows multiple foci of narrowing, maximum % of stenosis being 50 60%. Distal superficial femoral and short length of proximal popliteal arteries are occluded. Length of occlusion is 10.4cms and Occlusion is seen to start 20.7 cms proximal to knee joint. Proximal popliteal artery is reformed which is grossly thinned out with multiple foci of narrowing. Tibio-peroneal trunk shows osteal narrowing, % of stenosis being 30 to 40%. Proximal posterior tibial artery is narrowed, % of stenosis being 40 to 50% and rest of the posterior tibial artery is diffusely thinned out. Distal most posterior tibial artery at the level of ankle is occluded. Hence please suggest me an effective homoeopathic treatment and oblige.

Treatment Advice

Detailed Answer:
Hello
I appreciate your interest in Homeopathy.
I have gone through the details provided by you carefully.
after the detail analysis of case on basis of information you have mentioned my observation are
1 You are chronic diabetic and suffering from Diabetes since 15 years
2 Age factor 57 years
3 most of the arteries are narrowed
4 it seems that you are Chronic smoker

so the outcome is you are on the high risk group and at this point of time due to multiple destruction i would not suggest you to go for Homeopathic treatment to cure your problem.
stenosis in the artery is more than 40-50% and if not treated it may fully block the blood supply. and that would lead to emergency situation.
rather than going for Homeopathy you should consult to any vascular surgeon
for his opinion.
Understand Homeopathy has its own limitation. there are multiple foci, narrowing of artery and stenosis so this is very difficult to treat at homeopathic point of view. Homeopathy may take some time to start the action.

So rather than going any alternative mode of treatment i would suggest you to go for allopathic medication

Hope this is clear to you
