Brief Answer:
usg pelvis report--FAIRLY NORMAL.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
The presence of bulky uterus with thickened endometrium of 14mm is still fairly normal if the scan was done during the second half of your cycle where endometrium is in its secretory phase and endometrium can achieve a thickness till 14-16mm. If there is no heavy menses or severe pain during menses, unusual as compared to your previous cycles, then this is a fairly normal report, not indicating endometrial hyperplasia, adenomyosis or endometriosis.
The presence of grade 1 fatty change indicate fat deposition in liver and hence it is recommended that you may get a lipid profile done to get your cholesterol and triglyceride levels checked.
Please mention your last menstrual period date.
Regards

Brief Answer:
seek an endometrial biopsy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
if LMP was 5th XXXXXXX Then this ultrasound was done mid cycle on 21st XXXXXXX thats day 16 of your cycle and for day 16 the endometrial thickness is fairly high. It should be 8-10mm. THE NEXT STEP WOULD BE TO GET an endometrial biopsy done for histopathological examination to check for endometrial hyperplasia possibly due to progesterone deficiency ( if the report shows proliferative endometrium). The above can be easily treated with cyclical progesterone therapy. But you must seek a biopsy to get evaluated.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It would be too early to say if its serious or not, but yes the endometrial thickness is high for the day the scan has been done. With the repots available , an endometrial biopsy is indicated. The report shall give a fair idea.
