Some Lab tests can help
Detailed Answer:
Dear friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic
There are no clues to suggest a cause for weakness.
It may disappear with time… wait and watch
Switch Stamlo and Rozustat to night…
Limited to evenings could be from Depression?
Have your sugar checked after meals / also electrolytes (Sodium, Potassium & Chloride) / CK – to exclude statin effect on muscle
You should also be evaluated by a Neurologist, in view of changes in MRI
Changes in carotid Doppler are not significant and need no intervention at all
Mild fatty liver may be from overweight? –what is your height & weight?
Lab tests are OK except LDL elevation – and you are being treated.
Your treatment is appropriate and you are in good hands.
Take care
Good luck
Whether I have to stop Stamlo 2.5 mg and Rozustat tablets today(one day)? .
My height is 5ft.4 inches and weight is 61.5 Kgs. I am slim but my abdomen portion is more compared to my body frame. I eat only vegetarian food and drink coffee more compared to others. Now i have reduced coffee taking to only 1/2 cup per day that too light coffee (less coffee; with regular sugar). I had stopped consuming regular sugar/salt since i got discharged from hospital. Just since 2 days i am using regular sugar but little quantity, as my sugar level is appearing normal (fasting always below 90mg/dl). My sugar level (fasting) was 78mg/dl at 6.30am. Today my BP was 116/82 and pulse 80. (at 2.5 pm). At 6.40am it was 101/77 with pulse rate 81.
Today after noon i had no weakness. I tried eating fruits(musumbi/banana) and little coffe by 4pm and just now i ate only one chapathi (oil less) with dhal.(less salt). I am feeling ok now.
Usually i take my breakfast by 8am itself after my hospitalisation and i get hungry by 12 noon or so. Otherwise i get weakness. 4pm onwards (approx), i get strained ; and if i take coffee or some eatables, i will get to normalcy gradually.
I do little exercise (cycling - home exercise byke) for 1-2 min.
What causes depression? and what is satin effect on muscle?
After meals my sugar level ranging from 101 mg/dl to 127 mg/dl.
Mild fatty liver is since more than 3 years and I take gastric tablets omez-20 or Omirite whenever necessary. But since my hospitalisation i have stopped it.
I fear i may get stroke/heart attack by viewing all these diagnostic reports.
Nothing of serious concern
Detailed Answer:
Hi
In such a situation, the chance of a stroke or heart attack is really remote indeed / with the treatment the outcome is expected to be excellent and chance of a problem is not statically significant.
Frequent small feeds as you say is good…
No need to stop sugar
Add no extra salt; avoid highly salty foods like chips & pickles /otherwise, no need to reduce salt in cooking - avoiding salt & sugar completely is probably the cause of weakness!
Omez is for the stomach / has nothing do with the liver
Depression is a reaction to perceived illness / often the first reaction or following Denial / with
time, realistic adaptation follows
You can safely skip the medicines for a day / no problems
Strengthening of abdominal wall muscle can be learnt from Gym
Your BMI is 23.2 (Normal) / your weight is in range for your height
Statin may cause skeletal muscle injury in a minority of people raising the muscle enzymes (CK) / a majority of people have no problem
LDL is bad cholesterol – lower, the better.
In the absence of any other risk factor 100 is ideal for LDL-C. In the presence of ischemia, 70 should be the aim.
Keep your weight to normal / even a little less
Quit smoking,
Do regular EXERCISE – say walking or jogging - 30 minutes a day / at least 5 days in a week. Healthy FOOD is a must. Avoid saturated fats – coconut oil, palm oil, butter, ghee, full cream milk...Avoid junk foods in particular – French fries have palm oil / Pizza has cheese / XXXXXXX sweets are made in ghee.../ Change to Poly-un-saturated oil – like sun flower oil. / Include Mono-un-saturated oil – Olive oil.
Repeat the test in 6 weeks.

8. You have suggested me to consult neurologist for MRI evaluation. Whether i can discuss the same on this forum with Neurologist Doctor?
Kindly review and guide.
All well / Follow up with your doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hi
1) Yes, you can continue / rather you must and increase the level and uration
2) No issues with vegetarian diet is good – check for B-12 deficiency after several years
3) No problem with coffee / that too at this level
4) Yes, avoid butter & cheese / Use no-fat (<0.5% fat) or low-fat (<1.5%)
5) No need to stop oils – use monounsaturated like Olive oil; polyunsaturated like sunflower oil / oil has twice thw number of calories compared to carb
6) BP and sugar are normal
7) It must be 50 MICRO (not milli) gram. Adjust the dose depending on TSH level
8) For sure, you can. A visit to the local Neurologist and getting examined is the first step
