What Does The Following Ultrasound Report Indicate?

LESION IN ADNEXA, MRI NEEDED. NOTHING SERIOUS.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Let me interpret your scan report for you.
Firstly, the uterus is quite normal.
0.9 cm means a small fibroid less than 1 cm, which is very tiny, and negligible.
You do not need to worry about that.
The left side of the pelvis has a mass.
This is cystic with some solid parts, could be a cyst on the ovary , or a dilated fallopian tube.
Again, relax.
THis is nothing very serious.
Further imaging in the form of MRI is needed to clarify what exactly the structure in the adnexa is.
Would you please tell me what are your exact issues and symptoms.
ALso, there is one scan done in September, that mentions a normal right ovary, and the recent one saying it is not visualized.
Why was the scan done in September, and why was it repeated now ?
More details are needed about your symptoms and the sequence of tests done.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.

MASS NEEDS WORKUP
Detailed Answer:
Thank you.
There is a mass in the adnexa.
An MRI will clarify if it is ovarian in nature or just a dilated fallopian tube.
An ovarian mass would need further evaluation in the form of blood tests ( for eg. CA - 125 ) and possibly a laparoscopy to delineate the lesion.
It could be anything - right from endometriotic cyst ( explains the pain and menstrual issues ), complex cyst, infected cyst, hydrosalpinx ( infectious dilatation of the tube ) or a benign / malignant ovarian tumour.
ON what cycle day was this scan done ?
I would like to know that to comment on the endometrial thickness.

IT IS NORMAL
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Right then, just before your cycle, the thickness is normal.
Do not worry.
Regards,
