Dr XXXXXXX - I just realized you are an Urologyst
I just had an ultrasound done on my testicles last XXXXXXX 3rd 2016, and in the impression a tinny/small cyst was reported on the left epididymis the size is 3mm x 2.8 mm should I be worry, is there treatment to remove it, some times I feel a light radiation pain coming from that area.
the reason I had the US done was due to scrotum swelling, the swelling still there but it minimum, not sure where the swelling is coming from.
also for the past few days I discovered that the flow of my urine starts sideways then it gets to the center, I am concerned about something in the bladder/prostate/urethra, may be blocking the flow, I don't have any pain when I pee.
Last week I had an non contrast CT scan for abdomen and pelvis and nothing was reported, how accurate is a non contrast CT in the pelvis to diagnose metastatis or cysts, etc.\
let me know if you need more information
thank you

Brief Answer:
Nothing to be worried about Epididymal Cyst .
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .
The epididymal cyst is a benign cyst and does not require any active intervention .Treatment (Surgery) is advised only when there is sudden increase in size of the cyst or it gets infected which happens very very rarely .
As regards your urine flow you need to consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get Uroflowmetry done .He may decide regarding need for doing Endoscopic examination (Cystoscopy) .
Non contrast C.T of the abdomen is informative and sensitive test as far as detecting metastasis or cysts are concerned .
Thanks and Regards.
