Brief Answer:
It signifiies irritation of bladder mucosa due to chronic inflammation .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .

Bladder mucosa is lined by a layer of cells called Transitional Epithelial Cells .When ever there is infection or inflammation these cells undergo metaplasia and get changed to squamous epithelial cells and shade are off in urine which are seen on microscopic examination during urine analysis .

This is a normal process of regeneration of Transistinal Epithelial cells and it signifies that there is chronic irritation of bladder mucosa secondary to infection and inflammation .

Taking appropriate antibiotic to treat infection will resolve the issue .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
