What Does The Presence Of Fetal Pole And Absence Of Heartbeat Indicate?

Question: I had a Ultrasound(Vaginal) yesterday, it was supposed to be 8 weeks 3 days but the gestational sac measured at 6 weeks and 3 days , yolk present, fetal pole present but no heartbeat. The sonographer has given the impression as "Missed Abortion". Is there any hope to wait for another week

I can understand your concern.

I have worked through your ultrasound report and as you have 6 weeks pregnant with no foetal heart beat.

In my opinion as you have not completed your 7 weeks, you can wait for one week to watch the heart beat.

It can be due to wrong date so a diagnosis of missed abortion can only be cleared with ultrasound at one week difference.
