What Does The Ultrasound Scan Report After A Miscarriage Indicate?
Question: I had a u/s scan post a miscarriage and it said irregular gestational sac and moderate to large sub chorionic haemorrhage in fundus. What did it means measured 4.4

The report of the ultrasound describes the findings in the uterus. This is in support of the fact that abortion has occurred. The finding of a subchorionic hemorrhage may be the possible cause of the abortion. However, it is not very clear and we cannot be so sure about it. 4.4 refers to the size(diameter) of the hemorrhage measured. It units should be mentioned clearly on the report.

Thanks it was the diameter of the foetus and aslo noted in the uterus are multiple fibroids largest 16mm in diameter could this be a course of miscarriage ?? Or should I consider to have them operated ?? Improve my chances next time.this is the 4th miscarriage .
