Brief Answer:
Multiple thrombosis

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can understand your concern and worry about condition
1) Main reason to develop this condition is development of thrombus in various veins. In your patient's case thrombus is in hepatic vein (take out blood from liver towards heart), portal vein (supply blood to liver), superior mesenteric vein (drain blood from intestine to liver). All these veins are blocked complete or partial due to thrombosis. This affect liver function.
2) Thrombosis in hepatic vein require either stent placement or liver transplantation depending on extent of thrombus.
3) But having thrombus in portal vein (complete block) is contraindicated for liver transplant. Only few centers in Northern XXXXXXX perform liver transplant in presence of partial thombosis of portal vein but outcome after transplant is not as good.
4) I suggest you to consult at Hospital having Liver transplant center + Hepatology department instead of the institute which you mentioned.

'Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help you.
Have a good day!
