What Does This CT Scan Report For Chest Pain Indicate?

1- moderate coronary calcification detected with CAC score of 134 which is > 90th for his age and gender
2- There is evidence of vessel remodelling with ectasia in all three coronaries without obvious atherosclerotic change in the affected segments and there is a mild to moderate diffuse non-obstructive disease in the LAD and RCA. there is relative none atherosclerotic luminal narrowing in the distal LAD compared when with the ecstatic segment.
As I said I can send a copy of the full report as I want an opinion on what should be done after .

Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.
Since you have had chest pain and nonspecific ecg changes on stress test. Moreover there's a moderate coronary calcification with CAC score 134.
This is why I strongly recommend that you should go for coronary angiography in order to properly evaluate your coronary arteries and to exclude any significant coronary blockage.
Although, on the cardiac ct there weren't any obstructive coronary blockage you should go for angiography because this is the most accurate examination to evaluate coronary plaques. Cardiac ct isn't the best way to evaluate coronary plaques.
Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
Yes you are a candidate for taking aspirin and antilipidemic (against lipids or fats) drugs. This will help to decrease the atherosclerosis process and to prevent future cardiac complications.
Moreover I would like to recommend a healthy diet as follows:
- Eat fresh fruits and vegetable, avoid red meat and diary products.
- Reduce alcohol intake to less then a drink per day.
- Increase physical activities
- reduce unnecessary stress
- Quit smoking
Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
