Question: On a cat scan report it says I have trauma ileum, there is a mass on the right side. I have been allegedly assaulted while under anesthesia and also sexually assaulted and am not allowed health care. I am still bleeding internally but I am not allowed to know where. What can I do to get medical help as I have lost a lot of weight and can eat very little. Awhile ago I was supposed to have gallbladder surgery but left the hospital in one hour and twenty minutes. I have since been told my gallbladder is still there.

Welcome at HCM
I am Dr Saad Sultan and will be answering your query. I have read and understood your health concerns.
As long as you are eating normally and passing faeces then there is no need to worry at all.
You need to send us the original report of cat scan so that it can be better evaluated.
Based upon the history , it may be a hematoma in region of ileum. Second , ileum is a site for absorption of vitb 12. So problem here can present with the anemia.
In my opinion , you should meet general surgeon . there is need to get your full blood count along with serum feritin and vit. B12 levels.
Gall bladder if having stones and causing symptoms like pain . then it needs to he treated surgically.
Stay calm and meet general surgeon.

I am not eating normally. I eat white bread, non fat yogurt, potatoes, non fat app,e pie, prunes and tea. I cannot digest any other foods. I have to site for at least thirty minutes after I eat so my food goes down. My bowl works some days but always feels blocked and my abdomen bloats and is painful. I will send you a copy of the report as soon as possible.

Could you send me an email address that I could send a cat scan to.

Can you confirm you received the cat scan report. Although this report is from last year I only received it recently. I went in for gallbladder surgery but I have since been told it wasn't done as I left the hospital in one hour and twenty minutes. Is it possible to have a cat scan interpreted by you?

cat scan appear normal. see detailed answer.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome at HCM
i really appreciate your health concerns.
I have gone through your CAT report in detail. On basis of it, there is nothing alarming that you should worry about.
Yes, there is thickening of terminal ileum ( last part of small intestine) but it is not associated with any active disease process.
Your gallbladder has been removed on basis of this cat scan.
There is no internal bleeding evident on this scan.
Coming towards your symptoms , normal bowel movements should be at least two time per week. Bowel movements less than this should be investigated. Your other symptoms are related to indigestion.
In my opinion, you should visit Gastroentrologist once so that you can be properly correlated clinically. If I am your attending physician , I will get your Full blood count with retics, kidney and liver function tests along with fresh ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis. In light of these , I will be able to proceed.
Stay calm and try to eat single dish at a time. Avoid uncooked vegetables , beverages and fast food. Use ispaghol husk two times daily after meals.
May you get well soon
If you have any query do write me directly with my name on HCM.
