Question: Hello Doctor,

I shall be 41years in October and trying for a 2nd child without success for about 3 months now. Had an HSG yesterday. Can you explain to me in layman terms the meaning of this HSG Report and the possibility of getting pregnant with this result,
HSG: 'BOTH TUBES ARE DEMONSTRATED WITH SUBTLE FIMBRIAL HYDRO-SALPINX AND LOCALIZED SPILL OVER.
NORMAL UTERINE CAVITY DEMONSTRATED.
IMPRESSION: PATENCY WITH LOCALIZED SPILLAGE SEEN. NORMAL UTERINE CAVITY'.

Brief Answer:
Unhealthy fallopian tubes

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I saw the HSG report.

It shows fallopian tubes are not healthy and difficult to conceive naturally.

It is better to undergo IVF treatment for conceiving early.

Let me know if you need anymore help.

Regards
