What Does This MRI Report Indicate?

wow, sure weren't many images of the hip
Detailed Answer:
And I'm not especially trained in MRI's, more in pharmacology/internal medicine.
Also, cannot diagnose, prescribe or treat without being there.
That Being Said. I seem to see a narrowing of the space between the femur and the pelvis and some irregularity in the corrsponding part of the pelvis. This implies an osteoarthritis process that is not very far along and without a great deal of deformity.
Of course, being the most common situation, I was expecting to see that and that is coloring my observations. Never the less seems to be wear and tear or previous injury causing a deformity that will likely get worse over decades and eventually be consdiered for replacement.

Going with my first answer!
Detailed Answer:
The images are all over the place BUT, while a few show the hip, NONE show a good space between the hip and pelvis. This seems to support my first viewpoint. There are some irregularities I cannot really judge well with one image here and there, BUT would fit with my first views, which are by far the most common cause of hip pain.
Aspirin like drugs such as naproxen would be the first to use in osteoarthritis. Rest, limiting stress on it, might also be helpful.

You're very welcome
Detailed Answer:
and.... don't answer back right now, AND
I would be very interested to know how I did on the MRI reading. The Orthopedist is going to have the MRI, the official radiologist reading and the examination in front of him/her and be able to give the right answer.
I would be thrilled if you could send me a follow up THEN just so I know how I'm doing. (sending a reply NOW might mean you have to pay an extra fee later for a response that is for my benefit and not yours, and I'm not quite sure of the rules but I think you can send a free follow up if you haven't used up all the replies).
Thanks in advance.
