What Does This MRI Report Indicate?
Question: I had an MRI today for a lump on my arm. I think I am attaching the correct image but let me know. The lump is on the right bicep about 5-5.5 inches from the humoral head. The tech said they marked the area so there would not be any question. Of course, I have no idea what I am looking at but this seems to be the area (at least when I look at the image of the full arm and roughly where the lump is located).
Can you tell me if you see anything on these images? Is there a cyst or anything? If not, I would like to send the correct images so please let me know how I may do that. I tried to send the images with contrast, as I assume C+ means it is a contrast view. Let me know if that is not how it is usually identified.
I should clarify that I just had the MRI and have not gotten results to confirm whether the lump is a cyst or something else. Clearly trying to rule out cancer/sarcoma

Brief Answer:
There is a large subcutaneous cystic lesion in right arm.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I have gone through images in detail.
There is a large subcutaneous cystic lesion in right arm.Contrast images are usually not required to diagnose cyst.
Cyst has typical appearance in MRI.It is hypo intense(dark) in T1 images and hyper intense(bright) in T2 images.
Don't worry about findings. This is a benign finding and you may need surgical excision.
This is not cancerous at all.
Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your query.
Further queries are most welcome.

Do all the images i sent include the cyst or which ones? I also sent the same images to another service and the response their doctor sent was that he needed to see the whole stack. Not sure if that means a series of one view or all 200. E
Are you certain based upon what I already sent?
Also what is your opinion of use of soft tissue ultrasound for diagnosing a subcutaneous cyst?
