Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
TSH levels are not responsible for leg pain.
Please get her calcium and vitamin D levels checked, deficiency of those can cause pain in the legs.
Also she should be taking a multivitamin supplement such as Capsule A to Z once daily.
Does she have any swelling , redness ?
Has she had such pain earlier ?
Is she overweight ?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.

Thanks for the prompt response Doctor.
1. She has got a deficiency of Calcium and Vitamin D as per the test we had done some time back. She then took Shelcal 500 Mg twice in a day. She does not take that medicine any more.
2. I will start a multivitamin tablet and a Calcium cum vitamin D tablet with immediate effect.
3. She does not have any swelling or redness.
4. She had such a pain once earlier around 8 months back. She got well then taking Shelcal and Combiflam.
5. She is 82 Kgs and 5 ft 6 inches tall

The biggest problem as of now is severe pain because of which she is not able to get up or even move much in the bed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
She is overweight, and needs to lose atleast 10 - 15 kg of weight.
Also, if vitamin D deficiency is severe, just tablets containing combined calcium and vitamin D will not resolve it.
You need to give her bolus sachets first of Vitamin D ( Mashyne, D 360 etc ) one XXXXXXX per week for atleast 6 weeks, followed by calcium plus vitamin D tablets for 3 months.
It is better to take your doctor's prescription for this first.
Ask her to apply Elastocrepe bandage around the foot and sleep, she would be better in the morning.
Mild massage will help you.
SHe can keep a hot water bottle underneath the legs and sleep.
Hope this helped you.
