What Does This X-ray Report Indicate?
Question: a last question ; the base of my maxillary sinus are normal ? empty ? no cancer ? thank you so much
Brief Answer:
There is no cause for worry.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. The floor of the maxillary sinuses are intact.
2. The right side is slightly hazy compared to the left.
3. The paranasal sinuses are normally filled with air and hence appear dark on the X-ray.
4. If you have no symptoms, no further management is necessary. If there are any symotoms, a plain Sinus CT is the gold standard investigation.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
