Question: Hi,
My father has TVD. so we performed CABG.
Operation performedL ON PUMP CABGX3 LIMA-LAD,SVG-OM2, DISTAL RCA.
But after a month my father feel pain in shoulder and went for consultation. doctor analysed the ECG abd blood report and suggested again we need to perform angiography to diagnose the problem. After diagnosed the report says "PCI FROM LEFTMAIN TO CIRCUMFLEX". There is slow flow on SVG Graft.

After analysed report they gave medicine and said that curable by medicine. But still my father get pain sometime.

Please provide me your valuable suggestion on this. whether they did faulty surgery? Please let me know atleast will be curable by medicine.

Brief Answer:
Possible Graft failure. Please provide further information

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir

I can certainly understand your concern.

This looks like a graft failure.

I can guide better if you can upload post CABG report completely as significant details are missing in your typed report.

Additionally I would like to know what medication s are prescribed post CABG and post angiogram(latest).

Thank you.

I have two question

2) whether any critical issue occured?

Brief Answer:
Medications alone are ineffective

Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir

I have worked through your attached reports in detail.

This clearly shows Graft failure as blood clot again is formed in SVG to OM blood bypass.

PCI from Left Main to Circumflex is the next suggested intervention (but not the diagnosis).

PCI implies percutaneous coronary intervention, which includes placement of a metallic scaffolding called Stent.

It's extremely unlikely that his current symptoms are controlled by medications alone.

He requires PCI at the earliest to get complete relief from chest pain.

PCI is not an open heart surgery like CABG.

PCI is performed by a cardiologist and not a cardiac surgeon.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
