What Does This Biopsy Report Indicate?
Question: Thank you - I have a basel cell carcinoma and the biopsy is a keratotic basel cell, "morpheaform and infiltrative type, present at the biopsy margins" ... is that serious?
Brief Answer:
Go for removal of further skin around margin of existing cancer
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at HeallthcareMagic
It is not very serious but it means that the margin of the tissue removed has basal cell carcinoma.
You need to consult a doctor and go for another surgery where some more skin around the margin of previous cancer is excised so as to completely eliminate the chance of recurrence.
