What Does This Blood Test Report Indicate?
Question: Routine blood test revealed alp level 141 and calcium level 10.1. Doctor not too concerned but wants me to retake in a month. I'm afraid it may be something like bone cancer. He also said the test showed liver enzymes not a problem so it's a bone issue. Not sure what to do. Are these levels consistent with cancer?
Brief Answer:
Normal values. No worries. Not cancer
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Alkaline phosphatase is in normal range so is calcium levels. If i were a doctor , i would not have advised a repeat follow up after a month as the labs are perfectly fine. So no, it can not be bone cancer.
Talk to your doctor and let them clinically correlate all your symptoms as to me with all your labs clear, they look some benign and easily manageable symptoms.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
