What Does This Chest X Ray Indicate?

It is a benign condition & doesn't need treatment.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Bilateral apical pleural thickening is thickening of pleura in apical region of lungs in both sides.
It is a benign finding and mostly it is sequel of infection.
Infection naturally heals by fibrosis.
Thickening of pleura indicates past infection. In XXXXXXX it is most commonly due to past tubercular infection. However,it may be due to other reasons also.
It generally doesn't require any treatment.
If thickening is severe or it compromises respiratory function(which rarely occurs),then surgical removal of thickening can be done.
