Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your complete blood count report is almost normal except high lymphocytes.
Your total wbc count is normal but your lymphocytes count are high. It is relatively high. It can be due to some viral infection. But rarely it it can be due to early stage of chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Chances of leukemia is rare. But there is a possibility.
Don't worry much about that. You should go for repeat complete blood count and peripheral smear examination after a week.
If your count increase or lymphocytes percentage increase further or abnormal cells in peripheral smear then further investigations are needed. If your lymphocytes count comes to normal range then no need to worry.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic.
Wish you a very good health.
1) What is peripheral smear examination ?
2) If your lymphocytes count comes to normal range then no need to worry - Is it that if this comes down from the current levels to what ever count or it has to be in exact range for not to worry.
3) Also Neutrophils being low at 18 is this also a sign of cancer.
4) Also in the urine test report Specific Gravity is 1.015. why does this happen
5) Assuming if there is cancer what stage would it be at & can it be cured or no
I will explain you everything in detail.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
1. Peripheral smear examination is the microscopic examination of all cells. It will give detail idea about lymphocytes morphology. So we can know that whether lymphocytes are normal or abnormal.
2. If lympocytes count decrease then it suggest some improvement and chances of cancer are unlikely. Evenif it slightly higher then normal.
3. Low neutrophil count is not the sign of cancer.
4. Urine specific gravity is normal and it has nothing to do with your lymphocytes count or cancer. Don't worry about that.
5. Chances of cancer are low but evenif it is cancer it could be very early stage of CLL. No treatment is required. Just observations is required.
It has very good prognosis. Nothing to worry much about that.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
