What Does This Following Lab Report Indicate?

Question: I had a basal cell carcinoma removed two weeks ago and was told the surrounding tissue was clear. However, my lab reports states "fibrotic connective tissue with an irregular arrangement of collagen bundles and a mild lymphocytic infiltrate". Could you explain what this means and if I should be concerned?
Brief Answer:
Please post the full report, if possible the original one.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Female/52 - basal call ca removed 2 weeks ago - told that surrounding tissue is clear - however - report says ''fibrotic connective tissue with an irregular arrangement of collagen bundles and a mild lymphocytic infiltrate" - wants explanation about this sentence and whether should be concerned or not...
My thoughts:
- Please post the complete report as it is. This is very important for the comments on such matters. Once available we can discuss in details.
- Was the basal call carcinoma diagnosed before the surgery by biopsy or FNAC?
Awaiting for the full report.

Hi Dr. Chandrakant,
Yes, I had a biopsy done approximately 2 weeks ago which was positive for basal cell carcinoma. I am sending along the clinical notes from all three office visits for your reference.
Thank you,
XXXX

Brief Answer:
This is a part of the report says margins clear, all cancer removed .
Detailed Answer:
''fibrotic connective tissue with an irregular arrangement of collagen bundles and a mild lymphocytic infiltrate" -
This is the explanation about the margins of the lesion removed and please read the line below it:
Comments:
There is zone of normal tissue on all margins and it appears that the lesion has been completely removed.
This means, the part of the report you have given above says that your basal cell carcinoma has been completely removed. ''fibrotic connective tissue with an irregular arrangement of collagen bundles and a mild lymphocytic infiltrate" means the normal tissues.
I hope this clears your doubt.
