What Does This Lipid Profile Indicate?
Question: I would like some help interpreting lab results and what to do about them.
First, my cholesterol. My HDL was 41; my LDL was 129; my Cholesterol / High Density Lipoprotein was 4.8; and my Cholesterol non-HDL was 154. Cause for concern? If so, how do I treat it?
Next, my liver. My ALT was 68 one week ago. This week it was 53, buy my AST was 50 U/L. Cause for concern? If so, how do I treat it?
Lastly, I have been told I am not immune to Hepatitus B. What tests are used to determine this lack of immunity? What does it mean?
