Brief Answer:
Suggested lifestyle changes

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
HDL is high density lipoprotein and the desirable range in men is 60 mg/dL (1.6 mmol/L) or above.

If the HDL levels are less than 40 mg/dL (1.0 mmol/L)     then it is supposed to indicate risk of heart disease.

Recommend lifestyle changes to increase your HDL cholesterol are as follows
Stop smoking if you are a smoker.
Eat a healthy diet containing green leafy vegetables containing vitamin B.
Please do light exercises or yoga for 30 minutes each day.

It is important to consult a cardiologist and get an echocardiography done. To control LDL and triglycerides please avoid taking oily foods.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
