What Does This Liver Function Test Result Indicate?

Reports are more or less normal..
Detailed Answer:
Hello there.Welcome to healthcaremagic.
I am Dr.Senduran,General physician answering your query.
Gone through all the reports carefully.
There is nothing serious to be concerned much except few things.
1)Liver function tests- -Mildly deranged(SGPT,SGOT levels bit on the higher side)
Solution:Avoidance of alcohol and inappropriate OTC medication use would be enough.
2)Lipid profile - - Mildly deranged( triglycerides,VLDL little on higher side)
Solution:Limiting fatty diet, regular exercises atleast 20-30 mins a day, avoiding smoking would be enough
3)Fasting blood sugar -127--Nearly OK but little on higher side-- However single value doesn't indicate diabetes.Advice to get evaluated if another FBS value is above 126mg.
Solution: Diet, increased physical activity is critical to keep sugar in control.
4)Platelet count- - 1,20,000-- below 100,000 should be a concern.Otherwise its acceptable.
Solution:A repeat may be needed if any suspected clinical presentation is there.
Hope this answers your query. If any further questions, don't hesitate to ask.Take care.
