What Does This Semen Analysis Report Indicate?
Question: Hi... Iam 32 year old male height 184cm , weight 99 kg. My wife is 22 year old with normal body weight.Me and my wife are planning for baby , however we are unsuccessfull. We got married in the month of november 2015. My wife did some blood test on 2nd day of period this month. Everything is normal however she has been detected with harmonal imbalance PCOS for which she is taking medicine since last 2 month. We also did test like Ovulation test and did semen analysis and the reports is as below :
Quantity : 1.5 ml
Sperm counts :89 million / ml
Motility :60 to 70 %
Abnormal form : Few ( cytoplasmic drpplet,bent head & amirphous)
Pus cells : occasional
RBC : Absent..
We had a contact on the day she was given hcg injection and on the day when eggs were reptured and also continued for next two days.
We also did PCT test and the the report is normal with below findings:
6-7 per hpf motile sperm seen in cervix and 19-20 per hpf non motile sperm seen in cervix and no motile ggor non motile sperm seen in vagina. Spinbarcet - 4 to 5cm.
Conclusion : NormaL PCT.
Since last 8 month, we are trying for baby. Request you please advice us with the problem or reason why my wife is unable to conceive and prescribe and advise us with next step to be done and whether we would be able to have a natural pregnancy.

We have done HSG and thr fallopian tube is open and uterine cavity is also normal.

Next step is to go for follicular growth scan. If follicle on ultrasound scan is more than 18 mm it is best time to try for pregnancy.
