What Does This Ultrasound Regarding Late Periods Indicate?

No Pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I read your query and I understand your concerns.
Following is my reply:
1) This ultrasound report you have attached does not show pregnancy.
2) This report shows presence of polycystic ovaries. The delay in periods could be because of polycystic ovaries.
3) If you still in doubt and wish to confirm pregnancy, please get serum beta hCG blood test now which confirms pregnancy accurately. But as per my opinion, you are unlikely to be pregnant.
4) Cycle norm e-p pills are prescribed to induce withdrawal bleed. I will wait for another week; you might get periods by then. In case you don't consult your gynecologist for new treatment.
Let me know if you have anymore questions.
Regards,
Dr. Mahesh Koregol

One week
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
After cyclonorm completion wait for one week for the periods to occur. PCOD is diagnosed clinically after reviewing medical history, examination findings, hormone profile and scan report. At this point of time, we shall not arrive at the diagnosis of PCOD. Nevertheless, the treatment given is appropriate. Wait for week before visiting doctor for next treatment.

Premenstrual pain
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You seem to be suffering from premenstrual pain. This indicates your periods are probably about to arrive.
Please wait for another 4 days as you have completed cyclonorm 3 days back only.
Continue the medicines you are taking to reduce pain.
Regards
