Question: I am 67, ten years ago I detected a mass in my scrotum. I got a referral to a urologist who examined me nd ordered an ultrasound. they determined the mass was in the epididimus and told me to get on with my life, surgery wasn't indicated. I have not been back since. recently I had one of those medicare physical, non-physicals. I thought I would be examined but I wasn't. I didn't bring it up. should I be less casual about this? is there any point to insisting that it be palpitated during a physical?

Brief Answer:
Mostly You have Cyst Of Epididymis (Spermatocele) in your scrotum

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have what is called as Epididymal Cyst (Spermatocele ) detected 10 years back.

It is a benign cyst and does not require any treatment that is what was rightly advised by concerned Urologist at that particular time .

Since it is a benign cyst and has no significance and does not interfere in your day to day activities you should not be worried at all .Neither it is mandatory for you to bring it to the notice of authorities concerned and ask for palpation during physical examination .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions , I shall be happy to help you .
Thanks and Regards.
