Brief Answer:
You should consult urologist.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
In my opinion you should consult urologist due to mildly enlarged prostate. Before this visit, PSA level should be checked. Urologist should perform transrectal ultrasound and consider biopsy in case of elevated PSA.
If you have any recurring infection of the bladder, cystoscopy should be considered as well.
Hope this helps.
Regards.

My PSA is 1.5... I do not have any infection... Do I still need to do the prostrate ultrasound... It was normal in October of 2015... Could there are be other reasons that it is slightly increased? I have no problem with erection... Just s lot of stress lately, insomnia and egziety... Could any of these had caused this???
Thanks
Thanks
Brief Answer:
Than no need to consult urologist.
Detailed Answer:
In such case, no need to consult urologist. Your PSA is fine and prostate size is stable.
Sometimes it gets enlarged due to inflammation (can be chronic) or it can be just your regular size of the prostate.
Stress rather does not affect prostate.
So I suggest to have it in mind and recheck it in a year or two. PSA should be checked every year.
