I read your question and i understand your concerns. Dougados Functional Index for spondyloarthropathies (DFI) is a functional assessment questionnaire to assess the mobility of joint at start and end of an intensive physiotherapy sessions for spondyloarthropathies. There are many other indices like BASFI ( Bath ankylosing spondylitis functional index ) or BASDAI index. All of them are to correlate the improvement in range of mobility in patients with ankylosing spondylitis.
