What Is Melanosis Of The Esophagus?
Question: I just had an endoscopy. He removed 4 tissues of my esophagus for a biospy. I noticed that he wrote on my paprwork: biopsy 4x melanosis. I am trying to fin out what melanosis of the esophagus is. My doctor's office will be calling me when they get the results in. Is melanosis of the esophaus---cancer? I really want to know. I can handle a truthful answer. Thank you.
