Brief Answer:
Hi

Detailed Answer:
Good day,
Noted the question.
Type 2 Diabetes is due to a combination of resistance of body tissues towards the action of insulin ( insulin resistance) as well as relative insulin deficiency. Obesity and excess weight contributes significantly to this. LAck of exercise is another reason. If you diabetes running in family, that is a big risk factor.

What is your height and weight ?. If you do exercise and lose 10% of body weight, there will be significant improvement in diabetes. Along with this, you have to take a low calorie diet. Metformin is a wonderful drug , but some people do not tolerate big doses.

Unfortunately, there is no cure for Type 2 Diabetes at the moment. Lot of research going on. However, bariatric surgery offer good hope of cure of diabetes at least for some period if done sufficiently early

Hi

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for the reply. According to your weight and height, your body mass index is approximately 29 kg/m2. You do not qualify for bariatric surgery as per the BMI. You may need to bring down your weight by at least 10% , around 9 kilos.
