Brief Answer:
mouth ulcers heal on their own
Detailed Answer:
Hello Madam and thanks for the query,
There are many causes for sores in the oral cavity.
The common ones are drug reactions, viatmin B and folic acid deficiences, viral infections, trauma.
You can take a pain killer like tylenol or ibuprofen after checking your dose.
Most ulcers heal on their own without any treatment. You should maintain good oral hygiene by using chlorhexidene mouth wash. You can use gels containing lignocaine which helps to numb the pain. You can also use mouth washes containing benzydamine(analgesic).

Is it possible it is thrush?
Brief Answer:
is your diabetes well controlled ?
Detailed Answer:
Hello madam,
When did you last get your sugars tested ?
If it so happens that your diabetes is uncontrolled then along with steroid intake, it makes for a bad combination.
Uncontrolled diabetes with steroid can predispose you to fungal infection of nose and sinuses.
I would suggest you pay a visit to your doctor to rule it out and also get your sugars tested immediately.
It could be thrush also.
