Brief Answer:
Anterior vs Posterior

Detailed Answer:
Hi there

Thanks for the query

It depends on the surgeons preference and also if it is a difficult hip to manage on table, a posterior approach is warranted.

Anterior approach reduces the chance of posterior dislocation of the hip such can be an advantage because posterior dislocation of the hip is commoner.

Also less muscle and soft tissue are dissected in the anterior approach, making recovery quicker.

If your Surgeon is comfortable, it's better be go for Anterior approach.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
