What Is The Difference Between Blood Pressure And Heart Rate?

Since I've started exercising again for the past two weeks, I've felt an improvement in how I feel. When I take my BP, I notice it is lower like 112 over 74. Yet my heart rate was 90. Sometimes this is accompained by a racing feeling in my chest or a pain in my left arm. But when I put my hand to my chest, I don't feel my heart pounding that hard.
When should I worry about my heart rate and this pain in my arm? I've already been to see a cardiologist and had an echo and wore a heart monitor. Still waiting for those results.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I have reviewed your information fully and think I understand what exact information you need.
1. Heart rate: This refers to the number of times the heart beats in a minute. Average value is 72. However, values from 55-100 are considered normal.
2. Blood pressure: The force with which the heartbeats. Average value is 120/80 and values less than 140/90 are considered normal.
This therefore means that your values are normal and there is nothing to worry about. Though it doesn't always return as the same values, it is well within the normal range and needs nor further investigation.
I am afraid you are too concerned about your heart. I am confident all is okay and would like to know what the testing results turn out to be.
Right now, there is no reason to worry about this value. The palpitations and pains are not suggestive of a heart problem. Be relaxed about this. Have you ever had issues with your heart or are there any other reason for which you are concerned about possible heart disease? And what are the reasons for taking aspirin thrice weekly?
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
