Iam so baffled by the fact that my exclusive partner of 2 months and I have had absolutely shown no symptoms of anyhing until less than 1 week ago. I have had a complete 10 panel std done which came back yesterday with all 10 tests showing negative. Then why on Thursday am did I wake up with sores in my mouth and vaginal area? iam currently waiting at drs for an examination. Maybe it will reveal some answers what is going on.
Brief Answer:
May not be STD
Detailed Answer:
Hi
If the STD panel is negative after a week it is unlikely to be STD. Let me know the doctor's opinion as well.

Thank you for your responses. The Dr. who examined me yesterday said the lesions on my vaginal area and inside my mouth looked very much similar to what herpes lesions would look like. She has recommended that I get retested in four days and see what it says. Meanwhile she has started me taking Valtrex and has prescribed a mouthwash to use before each meal to help numb my mouth.
I will get retested on Friday and see what that indicates.
If that comes back negative I am wondering what else could cause symptoms such as these.

Brief Answer:
Other differentials for Herpes
Detailed Answer:
I would consider Hand Foot and Mouth virus, Candidiasis as non STD entities if not Herpes. If there is a possibility of STD then a chancroid could also be it.
Let me know further.
