What Is The Life Expectancy Of A Psoriasis, Psoriasis Arthritis And Hepatitis-B Patient?
Life expectancy reduced in severe psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, hepatitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
The life expectancy of a person suffering from mild to moderate psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis won't be affected much but in case of severe psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis it can be reduced slightly due to associated comorbidities.
It has been seen that patients of psoriasis are at higher risk of cardiovascular diseases. Either this or as a result of side effects of medicines the life expectancy can be reduced.
In autoimmune hepatitis the life expectancy can be reduced if the patient doesn't go in remission even with the medicines or the patient has developed severe fibrosis and cirrhosis or any complications like portal hypertension.
The expectancy will vary from patient to patient and how much time he os she remains in remission.
