Brief Answer:
plese see details below.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir
The prognosis in a given single patient can not be predicted with accuracy. The data is derived from populations and is applicable to populations (group of patients) only. Statistic can not be applied to a single patient. With this comment, I have following observations about the query.
As per the ECHO report, the degree of mitral regurgitation is trivial and there is no associated prolapse of mitral valve.
In a female with 70 years of age, this much mitral valve regurgitation is possibly a normal variant. It is not associated with any pathology. We do not routinely follow such patients for valvular assessment.
In this ECHO report, there does not seem to be any valve related problem and in such patients, likelihood of development of any valve related problem as progression is very low.
A major valve related problem may arise only after a long period of degeneration which may be 10-15 years down the line or some acute event like a heart attack may cause it.
Hope this clarifies the issue. Feel free to discuss further.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
